Multimedia
Before starting in-depth with the topic we have to know something more fundamental and basics about the Multimedia. we get two words by Just splitting the word Multi + media. Multi means multiple, many or more than one and media is nothing but the way of communication and so multiple ways of communication are nothing but multimedia. Using Multiples of media to communicate a particular subject is multimedia

Generally, human mankind uses five elements to communicate they are
  1. Audio
  2. video
  3. Text
  4. images or visuals and
  5. graphic designs
Multimedia is an effective task of using more than one media in content so that it can be communicated easily and effectively to the users or target audience. for example, we read newspapers. There we see more than one media which are, Text, images and graphical designs like Lines shapes and symbols. So newspapers are one big example of Multimedia. Like so we have soo many examples, television, social networks, cinema, and so on

The Multimedia industry artist always in need of those media elements like typefaces and fonts for text, an audio clip of music or sound, video clips or footages with or without sound, visuals like cartoons, infographics, vector illustrations, hand-drawn artworks digital paintings, photos or photographs graphics designs like layouts, frames, borders, etc.

These artists, when needed, they do it on their own or they buy it from other Multimedia artist or they buy it, mostly from stock websites. why because they can find a lot of artists around the world who contribute their work by uploading on these stock websites. One famous website to buy stock images, stock vectors, stock footages are www.Shutterstock.com.

Shutterstock images
stock images are the photography of objects, places, peoples, animals, pets backgrounds and so on anything which is useful for multimedia purposes. When it comes to Objects it should not have any brand name on those objects, for example, its a shoe but not an Adidas or Nike shoe which means the shoe should not have Adidas or Nike Logo on it.

when it comes to people or a particular person we need to have their permission to sell their photos in Shutterstock which is a model release form with all filled information and signature of the photographer and the model who is the person in the photograph. Basically, Shutterstock confirms that they can have the photo of that model in their official Shutterstock website by asking the photographer to fill the details of the model and photographer, the signature of the model for accepting that the photographer can sell the photo in Shutterstock. If the model is a kid, the parent has to sign the form.

When it comes to Properties like buildings, cars, bikes, and other things there is a form known as a property release form. The photographer should have the confirmation from the property owner. Objects, animals, and pets with no branding name on it need no forms

Shutterstock images Quality
When the Contributor uploads images in Shutterstock, he has to wait for a certain amount of time so Shutterstock can review for acceptance or rejection of that image.
what kind of review Shutterstock will do?
  • It reviews for brand names anywhere in the image and if it gets something it ll reject.
  • Pictures with Models with no model release, pictures with properties with no property release will be rejected.
  • If the picture doesn't have a proper description and keywords will be rejected.
  • Pictures have to maintain the minimum given quality with size, dimensions, and resolution else it 'll be rejected.
Shutterstock Vector Files
As a vector artist, we can also upload vector files. Vector files are resolution free images and quality free images. User can finally render it in own required quality. Generally, Logos for brandings, Bussiness stationary templates for business, Illustrations, patterns, backgrounds are done through vector files. When it comes to Shutterstock Vector files we have to save the file in EPS format with an illustrator10 version and upload it in Shutterstock.
